Audio CD Changer question?

I just bought a 1999 Mercury Mountaineer and it has a factory installed 6 disc cd changer in it. The prob is that the previous owner swapped out the factory dash radio for a new one. It's a JVC KD-G210. The disc changer doesn't work now. Is there anyway I can hook it back up? Maybe with this radio or with another one? The changer is in my console and it takes up alot of room. If I can't make it work, I would like to take it out, but don't know how. I would really like to figure it out so I can use it. I am severly allergic to almonds and don't understand how?

I used to eat almonds like they were candy but the other day I only ate 3 and my throat closed up. Sometimes a person really cannot make time or afford to keep a dog. If they do everything they can to find it a good home, then kudos to them. They recognize that they cannot give the dog the time or attention it needs and do something about it. Some people would just lock the dog in the backyard or bathroom (yes, I know someone who did this) and never do anything with it. Just because someone gives an animal away does not mean they are "mean." Some people do give away or sell their pet because they want a cute and cuddly pretrained "accessory" but I think there are also many that have good intentions and just can't handle the animal.

Will Venitian Plaster cover damaged/peeling drywall?

We just pulled tongue & groove cedar, that was glued to painted drywall, off and the walls are damaged where the glue was. There is a lot to repair, lots of spots with paint & texture gone, some spots where drywall is showing, Paper is peeling. Do I have to fill each damaged spot with some kind of filler before I use venetian plaster? Or can I just fill these spots with the venetian plaster?

k so I'm 22. My whole life I've been able to accidentally finnish other people's sentences, thoughts and I can pick up on the feelings and motives of other people, like to the point where i feel them myself. Why are stray cats forced to live in shelters?

Ok there are cats everywhere where i live. they're just all feral cats that go everywhere. you cant touch them or even get within 30 feet of them. nobody feeds them and they are just fine. cats are able to take care of themselves so im just wondering why do people catch feral cats that you will never be able to touch and tak them to a shelter where their just euthanized. why not let them stay wild and actually live their life? like on animal cops or somethin where there's hoarders with cats locked in the house that you can touch, why not open the doors and let them out instead of wasting their time and money by catching these wild cats and than killing them. i really wonder why people dont just let them live on their own. they fend for themselves just fine.

When a woman miscarries, why does she have to go through normal delivery rather than a C-section?

Don't get me wrong; I'm not trying to be morbid or gross by asking this question. I'm just curious because I know two different people who recently lost babies pretty late in the pregnancy and I know that both of them had to deliver the baby naturally, rather than via C-section. I mentioned it to a friend and she said that also happened to someone she knows. This obviously has got to be pretty emotionally traumatic for the mother to have to deliver a stillborn baby, and I know it would still be bad with a C-section, but is there some medical reason why doctors have women do this instead of the C-section? I mean, I know that Caesareans are major surgery and usually only done when necessary, but if nowadays rich women can choose to have C-sections, it seems to me like doctors would give a woman with a miscarriage the same option just to make it a little easier on her. Sorry for the long explanation, but any help would be appreciated!

Violation of probation/failure to pay?

I got into some trouble back in 04, got arrested for having a roach on me. (which sucks because there was no weed in it, don't even know how long it'd been in there) anyways I was put on mail in probation for 6 months since it happened far away from my home, i was ordered to pay some fines as well. I never paid the fines, i didn't have job, and was living with my Dad who was supporting me. I was 19 when this happened. I never got a job because I was in school, since then I have gotten married and have children. I just found out there is a warrant for my arrest for Violation of Probation. I called the courthouse up there in Martin County FL and was advised to turn myself in. Newly pregnant and cramping?

Second c-section after an emergency one 3 years ago?

I went into labour with my first on my due date and she was born early hours of the next day (2007). after 28 hours of labour i had not dilated and she was in distress towards the end. I am 25 weeks pregnant now and just today went to see the consultant as i had decided to opt for an elective c-section in fear of the same happening again. The consultant was very rude and abrupt with me and i ended up in tears. she told me that she would not book me in for one until i satisfied her that i had thought about it. I told her im 25 weeks pregnant and have had so much time to think about my options and have decided to go for this. She went on to try all sorts of angles to try to get me to change my mind, telling me (very harshly) that i could bleed and they could 'put a hole' in one of my organs and that its possible for me to have to have an hysterectomy and that would mean 'no more kids for you'. she then went on to book me in for a c-section 3 days after my due date saying thats what you got. I am not worried about giving birth naturally just rerally worried that the same will happen again!! anyone any advice for me??

I follow the EASY method by Tracy Hogg the baby whisperer. Eat, Activity, Sleep, and You time. There are no real set times for how long or often each lasts, it just depends on the baby's needs. If he wakes up from his nap and he's cranky, I put him back down. If he's hungry half hour after he ate I feed him etc. The only thing I do try to have is a set bedtime, but if it doesn't happen it's not a big deal. I think the way your schedule is follows this perfectly and as long as it works for the family stick with it.

Now I am back with living with my parents after 9 years. Here is my question. My sisters have grown and they are being raised very differently from how I was raised , although we have the same parents. I was raised with a home responsibility. Cleaning, cooking, being a homewife. They were not, so everything is always dirty and they expect me to clean since I am here all day. I dont mind it but when you are 35 weeks pregnant and live in a two story, 7 bedroom house its kinda hard not to be pissed if they cannot even clean a restroom. Besides all this, a sister that got married less than a year ago is back after leaving her husband and she wants to come back to talk smack about how I am. Am I the only one who notices some races are just better than others at certain things?

If when people migrated away from africa their skin colour changed from black to other shades, is it not extremely likely that other attributes of the race adapted to their new enviorment as well? For example the jungles of Africa could not form civilizations due to the very rugged terrain and therefore remained hunter-gatherers which required more athletic ability which explains why blacks are most often winners in physical sports, moreso I beliive in general than other races. Could this not also explain why asians display more mathematical ability. We like to all beleive we are the same, but I dont think we are I think some races are suited better to certain skills. The iniut evolved so that they retain fat very easily, like there are so many examples I can think of, so why couldnt this affect atheletic ability, mathematical ability, etc.

you've the old dadage about sticks and stones...? well words really do and can hurt more than sticks and stones, as you have found out the hard way. you need to confront your son once more. this time you need to go to him in repentance for your treatment of him when he needed you the most. let him know that you are truely sorry for the pain and anguish that you caused him. let him know that you love him very much and are very worried about him. maybe both of you and his sister can confront him in a loving and compionate way and talk to him about receiving treatment for his depression. you might consult a doctor or lawyer to see if,since he has indicated suicidal thoughts, if you can get him into a psych ward of a local hospital without his okay. this happened to me 8 years ago when i had suicidal tendencies. i was told that i had a choice. i either admitted myself for a week or two or my husband could have me admitted for whatever time that a judge said i had to stay in a psych ward against my will. what ever way you need to do it your son is in need of immediate medical attention. i was angry at first but after being put on medicine and seeing a psychiatrist i saw that what my husband did was for my own welfare and am now 8 years later doing very well. i take meds every day and now see my psychiatrist every 3 months. i wish all of you the very best. just remember that as parents sometimes wanting what we think is best for our children is not also so. sometimes before responding to people in ouyr lives we need to sit back and think about the situation before we respond to it the way that our hearts and minds tell us should be our initial repsonse to a situation. a day or two of serious thinking will not usually have to much of a change of outcome on a situation. i freely admit that with my own grown son that i have reacted badly initially but after thinking about it for a few days have changed my mind and heart and sought a different response that had a more positive outcome than my origiona; reaction would have had. wow that sounds like an amazing diet! i think that would keep you at a fixed weight. the only thing that might factor would be what kind of exercise you do. if you do alot of cardio then you could loose some weight gradually. but that also depends on how much you weigh. if your body fat is over 16% then you prolly will loose some weight.

My wife and I just got back from DC. We used the Metro subway system and did a double decker bus tour one day, during the week, to see all of the sights close to the Mall. On the weekend ( Fri., Sat. & Sun.), we rented a car from Enterprise for $20 a day, the weekend rate. We used the car to go see Mount Vernon, Manas Civil War Battle site and to Annapolis. Those were my favorite parts of the trip. So, unless you are planning to get out of town just use the Metro, Taxis and tour buses. Oh, we did take a Pedicab one hot afternoon on the Mall, that was fun.

Scared of having another baby but i want one so bad!?

I had a beautiful daughter in 06 and my husband and I want another child. We want three more children eventually we are planning to start trying for our second baby in december. I am afraid though because I am terrified of needles and of I.V's and hospitals. I always have been. I made it through my last pregnancy but every time i had to go to a doctors appointment i was scared out of my mind about the blood work, I was terrified of the IV and So afraid of the epidural that i waited too long to get one and only got a partial spinal med. I also had to get a measles mumps and rubella vaccine before i left the hospital. It may sound stupid but I want another baby so bad, and I just want to know if there are any ways to try and calm yourself about the blood work and the epidural or if there are any alternatives to the epidural that do not hurt or any hopsitals where you wont have to have an IV. I am just so concerned of being petrified the whole pregnancy. birth doesnt scare me just needles

I have two credit cards -- a FIA credit card and BofA card (I didn't know they were the same company). I called to dispute a rate change because one late payment (1st in a year - I have had the card ( formerly MBNA ) for 8 years) --- they ran my credit and decided to closed the account because my income does not meet their standards - now!, to which i agreed. 98 vw golf k2 edition, 5spd - $1300 Good idea?

i have a 98 GTi, so basically the same thing but a vr6. It looks like the previous owner did a lot of work on it. In my opinion its best to buy a car which is "unmolested" as in it has just had maintenance done to it and that is all. If you know about cars and enjoy working on them, it sounds great. With a vw, especially an old one, you need to be weary of automatic transmissions. This one has a 5 speed so you are set. My GTi has 239,000 miles on it and haven't had to do anything major to it...
