TOSTITOS!! I'm lazy - Can I heat the cheese that comes in a gl jar in the microwave?

And can anybody tell me where I can get a cheese dip for nachos that is mildly spicy but does NOT contain those ******* peppers and ****! Like the smooth cheese you get from the movie theater or 7-Eleven?
