Fundraising for an orchestral trip to Spain?

Hi everyone, I hope you can help me! My highschool orchestra this year is going on a trip to Spain in March of 2011. This is a once in lifetime event for me, and I'd really like to go. But the fee is 3000$! It's for a week so I find that it has it's moneys worth(while covering all costs) but I cannot afford that! I have no money no job and an unwealthy family:(. I wanted to ask, does anyone have any fundraising ideas I can do with one friend so we can raise money? I can't do buy-resell fundraising, and I want something that can make a decent amount of money.
