Why couldn't henry the 8th father a healthy son?

I read that he had a lot of trouble conceiving a male heir with any of his 6 wives, and the one he had with Jane Seymour was weak and died early (at 15 I think?) Anyway, my question is did he have something wrong with him genetically that made him unable to father healthy sons? or was it just bad luck?
