Feminists who demand true equality (not selective equality) - will you demand equality here?

The Sharon Bailey quote really gets me. What if the defendent was a man? Can you imagine a man ually aulting a woman in this manner and the lawyer telling the judge to not send him to jail because he'd already sufferered enough? Give me a break. A man would be villified. But a woman, oh her suffering of embarrment is enough punishment!
